Mayor Bloomberg seeks to balance generic public opinions about Chinese-American politics and the readiness of our nation to understand post-modern interdependence in economics and trade.

Mayor Bloomberg is candid about his views on the readiness of our electorate and he is candid about his views on Asia and its readiness on issues of the environment. Mike made necessary and timely political overtures. I think he did well to balance realities and soothe confidences. We are in China's debt. meaning - - we owe China much and need to stop being fickle!

The readiness of future politicians here however, is in Mike's hands in NYC a world-class "intellectual capitol". Bottom line is that our young, our emerging adults who inherit the debts of our nation -- have to be competent of the interrelationships and realities in the global society; capable in the marketplace and competitive and alert like international students, knowledge workers and politicians (?).
