Dennis Walcott has been a right arm for the mayor from the very beginning of his public administration. Dennis will exhibit more humanitarian outreach than Cathy Black and he intimately knows the old board new silos and the kids and families. He too has no educational teaching and educational supervision and administration cred but "Children First" may now see new phases if he, the quite capable public administrator leads for the 1.1M system beyond the scope and sequences of administration and politics in NYC.
